Scandinavian Fest - Malung, MN

We would like to Wilkommen (Welcome) you to participate in the Scandinavian Fest September 22 – 23, 2023. The Malung Community Center opens its door to encourage you to immerse yourself in story telling, live music, wood carving and comedy skits.

At the festival, you will take part in the preservation of the history and the Scandinavian culture. You will smell the sweet Scandinavian treats coming out of the Scandi Kitchen and many are available to take home from the Scandi Market. Potato dumplings are also a crowd favorite with over 500 lbs of spuds being peeled to create these authentic cultural dinner. No belly will be empty at this event.

Be sure to take the time to visit the displays, see the craftsmanship of the clothing, art and hand work from the region. Vendor and artisans fill the centers halls and rooms with unique pottery, leatherwork, art and so much more. This event is joyous and an annual favorite in the northwest region. You Betcha you need to be here in 2023.
