Charcuterie Board Contest | Roseau Winter Festival Event | 1st Ever
The Roseau Flannel and Frost Festival is heating up in the coolest way possible! On February 21, 2025, 14 teams will face off in the ultimate Charcuterie Board Building Contest!
Think you’ve got the creative flair to turn a humble board into a mouthwatering masterpiece? Well, here’s your chance to show off your skills! Each team will receive a basic board; the rest is up to you! Bring your best savory snacks, sweet treats, and everything in between to craft a one-of-a-kind creation. Whether you’re all about the meats, the cheeses, the fruit, or even the chocolates – it’s your board to design!
So, grab your friends, your aprons, and your best charcuterie inspo, because this is one tasty competition you won’t want to miss. Will your board be a showstopper, or will it crumble under the pressure? Only time – and a panel of judges – will tell!

- Â Location: Roseau City Center Building
- Â Registration/ Check In: 9:00 AM (set-up and building begin)
- Â Judging: 12:00 PM
- Â Winner Announced: 1:00 PM
- Â Prize: $100 Roseau Dough
Eligibility
 1. Open to individuals or teams (up to 4 members per team). Businesses can participate as a team.2. All Winter Festival participants must register by [Feb. 10]. Limit 14 teams . The form will not accept more than 14 registrants.
  3. Registration Fee to hold Spot $20, which will be given back at Check in.
Registration
  1.   Each team will receive:
      •  One cutting board (provided at check-in). One of 7 round (21X16) or One of 7 rectangle (22X10)Â
      •  $20 in Roseau Dough to help cover ingredient costs.
  2. Teams are responsible for bringing their ingredients, utensils, and any additional decorations they wish to include in their charcuterie board display.
3. Participants will clean their workspace before they can enter for judging.
4. One participation prize.

Supplies can be purchased in advance
Props can be added
Table Space is limited to one 9 foot table for prep work. There is no sink or water.
Prep work can be done before the event, including baking, shopping, chopping and detailing.
Entries must bring all supplies needed other than the display charcuterie board that is required.
