    Visit our many talented local artist with various shops downtown. After an early dinner hit up the Thursday market for locally made goods, then enjoy an evening of music at the Gazebo while enjoying a locally made dessert.

    SHOP TIL YOU DROP

    If you’ve seen one mall store you have seen them all so why not try something different. Roseau features a thriving old-style downtown district with unique stores. The entire downtown has been revitalized with paver sidewalks, old-style street lighting, and music playing all day long. Roseau has many restaurants to choose from Chinese cuisine to the an award winning burger. We truly have something for everyone!

    TALK BIRDIE TO ME

    Create your own exciting tour of the area golf courses in Northwestern MN. Start your golf marathon at the Oak Crest Golf Course in Roseau. Then, experience within a 45 minute drive, these other popular area courses: Warroad Estates Golf Course, Oak Harbor Golf Course (Baudette), Oakview Golf Course (Greenbush), Karlstad Golf Course, Two Rivers Golf Course (Hallock), Riverside Golf Club (Lancaster) or Lake of the Sandhills (Buffalo Bay).

    DITCH THE GPS

    Some paths can't be discovered without getting lost. Today, hit the road and see where you end up as you explore Roseau County's abundant wild flowers in the spring and summer. Did you know Highway 11 spanning from Greenbush to Baudette contains an estimated 800,000 Showy Lady Slippers – the Minnesota State Flower. As you forge your own path, be sure to bring a bucket for those morrell mushrooms or wild MN blueberries! During the fall, plan a picnic lunch in a nearby state forest as you chase the leaves as they change from brilliant shades or red to soothing orange and yellows across Northern MN.

    IT'S 5 O'CLOCK SOMEWHERE

    Spend the day touring nearby breweries and distilleries. Head East and visit the northern most brewery: Lake of the Woods Brewing Company of Warroad, then head farther down the highway to Baudette, MN to Lake of the Woods Distillery (opening late 2021). If you'd rather travel West, head to Hallock, MN and taste test Revelation Ale Works Brewery, Far North Spirits Distillery, and/or Last Chance Trading Post Wine Bar.
