DAY TRIP

Ideas

As Og Mandino said: “The greatest legacy we can leave our children is happy memories”.

  • LETS GET WET AND A LITTLE BIT WILD

Start your day with the kids splashing around at the pool, then take them to where the fun really begins... the splash pad & skate park. After a busy morning, relax with burgers & milkshakes from the drive in before heading over to the Roseau River where you will spend the afternoon soaking up the afternoon sun while fishing, canoe or kayaking. End your day by refueling with everyone's favorite pizza for dinner!

  • FOR THE SPORTS LOVERS

Grab some coffee and an early morning tee-time, then after lunch downtown enjoy a family bike ride on local paths or head out to the state parks. There are beginner to advanced options for everyone to enjoy.

  • YOUR MISSION IF YOU CHOOSE TO ACCEPT IT

... is to go on a treasure hunt and explore some of the most interesting places around Roseau where you will find a variety of treasures such as trading cards, trinkets, and traveling coins as you spend your day geocaching.

  • CREATE YOUR PERFECT DAY

Choose from a lengthy ala carte menu of family activities to check out while staying in Roseau.

  • HAVE YOU EVER TASTED FRESH BLUEBERRY PIE?

The blueberries are plentiful in Beltrami Forest in the month of July. Bring your empty pails. Spend the afternoon in the forest picking wild blueberries. Enjoy the peaceful scenery of the woods while filling your buckets. Hopefully you won’t eat them all before you get home to your pie baking activity! Fresh blueberries are delicious!
