Event Details
Roseau, M.N. – On August 6 from 12 to 4 p.m., Warroad, Roseau and Greenbush residents will have
the chance to drop off unused and unwanted medications, prescription or over-the-counter, for safe
disposal at a convenient drive-up, drop-off event in each community. Altru Clinic, LifeCare Medical
Center, LifeCare Public Health, the Roseau County Sheriff’s Office, Roseau Police Department and
Warroad Police Department have joined forces to rid our communities of excess medications.
Drive-up, drop-off locations include:
- Warroad Law Enforcement Center
- Roseau City Center (North Parking Lot)
- Greenbush Fire Hall
Medications can be left in their original containers. All items are incinerated including personal identifiers.
Properly disposing of excess drugs is everyone’s responsibility as a matter of public safety. Medications
left in homes can lead to theft, misuse, diversion, unintentional poisoning, abuse and overdose. Please
find time to clean out your medicine cabinet and drop off controlled, non-controlled or over-the-counter
medications during the Medication Take Back Day. If you are unable to attend the Medication Take Back
Day find further information on safe disposal at altru.org/drugdisposal.
