Primary and Secondary Education
The Roseau Community School, home of the “Rams”, has become a focal point of “community” education in Roseau. A strong emphasis has been placed our children and their education, it is the backbone of Roseau’s future. The community has responded with a state-of-the-art facility, committed staff and supportive parents. The Roseau School is not only keeping up with the times, it is a leader in developing students with a college and vocational oriented curriculum. The school provides extensive computer and technology integration into cirriculum, vocational skills development opportunities, and ITV telecommunications links offering higher education possibilities with post-secondary schools such as the University of Minnesota Crookston and Northland Community and Technical College. The school has also made efforts to keep student to teacher ratios low.
The Roseau School is truly a community school providing opportunities for everyone. The school boasts a central community center featuring a swimming pool and spa, state-of-the-art 400 seat auditorium, computer lab, meeting rooms, library, complete wellness center, and indoor walking track. All of these facilities are open to the public on a regular basis and provide a focal point for city residents. In addition, the school provides a variety of adult classes through its Community Education Program.

NORTHLAND COMMUNITY & TECHNICAL COLLEGE
Northland Community & Technical College maintains a satellite site in the Roseau City Center. The facility provided two classrooms, one is a 17 seat ITV/computer lab classroom and the other is a 32 seat traditional classroom.
