In Roseau, members are continually servicing all ages and groups in our community with passion, adding new projects where there is a need, such as “Love to Read” at the local library and installing a closet at school for kids or their families who don’t always have personal hygiene items; continuing with enduring events which people count on coming to year after year, such as the parade for the Roseau County Fair and Super Santa Saturday; more recent annual favorites are the Father/Daughter dance and Diva Day.nnThey are very proud of what they do, and try to do it well – this relatively small group of ladies work hard but also have fun! They like to throw parties and can often be seen socializing before our meeting, visiting and catching up on each other’s family or work lives. They have all formed great friendships with ladies that they likely otherwise wouldn’t have crossed paths with.nnThe Women of Today also challenge these ladies to grow out of their comfort zone, connecting with others in the community, taking on new roles, maybe chairing a project, but always with the support of fellow members and even other chapters. By engaging in the different levels of the organization, members are exposed to many opportunities for personal and professional growth, and they all begin with your local chapter.nnThe Roseau chapter meets at 6:30pm, the 2nd Monday of each month at the Library Meeting Room in the City Center.
