1. You run into a famous hockey player at the local cafe.  

Bonus if it’s Tuesday and they are serving potato dumplings.  

2. Someone is eating cinnamon bread with Cheese Whiz & green olives.

3. A car is left unlocked, windows down in the summer, and running at the store with no one in it. 

4. You hear someone say, “U Betcha, Oh fer cute, Uffda or Fer Pete’s Sake”.

5. Short and sandal weather starts at 45 degrees. 

6. Hockey is considered a season.  

7. You see someone drive to work on a Polaris snowmobile or ranger.  

8. It’s freezing cold or scorching hot outside, but someone tells you it could be worse. 

9. Soda is “Pop” and Casseroles are “Hotdish”. 

10. Everyone is “Minnesota Nice” and goodbyes take 20 minutes.
