Pollinators - Portable Interactive Exhibit

thu09janAll Daywed22Pollinators - Portable Interactive Exhibit

Event Details

The Pollinators exhibit explores insect pollinators, their importance to the production of many of the foods we eat and the challenges to survival they face. It emphasizes how we can help pollinators.

There are several interactive parts including an LED-lit magnifying glass to look closely at a variety of insects. Photos of plates of food may be flipped to show what would be missing without pollinators.

This exhibit at the Roseau Public Library is brought to us by the Minnesota Pollution Control Agency and Minnesota Department of Education, State Library Services, with support from the Institute of Museum and Library Services.

The display will be open to the public at the Library from January 6th through the 22nd.
